Idea to send:	Topic School boards Content I think all school board members should be required to attend a "vision" class. I attended a very small school district board meeting and the superintendent mentioned they had been given twenty computers from Oklahoma City. The superintendent said they did not know what to do with them and none of the elected board members knew either. This was several years ago. When folks are elected from the community, especially very small communities, folks need to know what can be done to improve the options for school kids. Continuing the "status quo" for the community does not increase jobs, it just continues the cycle. Showing the board members that thinking big can actually happen and it may produce dividends for the kids and the community as well.
