Topic | Work Tax to Finance City Roads |
Content | Cities such as Tulsa and Oklahoma City should levy a Work Tax that would be taken out of employee's payroll checks. If you do not live in the city in which you work, you would pay $250 per year for the upkeep of roads and cost of municipal operations which you are using but are not paying for. It would amount to about $5 per pay period. Because it would be taken before taxes, it would be even less. |
