Idea to send:	Topic Abandoned Turnpike and Hwy Content The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation should convey abandoned roadways to the city in which an abandoned roadway exists and if not in the City, then to work with city officials for annexation, or convey to the county in which the abandoned roadway exists. The appropriate authority should then work with the City or County to provide funds to include the area in the City's or County's long range development plan.
