If teachers were on the same salary scale as lawyers, doctors and other highly trained professionals, the profession of teaching in Oklahoma would be more attractive to grreat teachers from all over the world. Nothing impacts the future of Oklahomans more positively than great teachers. Reward this impact! Of course this means that the education and training of teachers would have to ramp up to be worthy of this investment.
