Idea to send:	Topic Medical Content Why not create a $5M grand challenge to meet a "stretch goal" for diabetes and/or cancer? We could call it the Centennial Challenge for Cancer/Diabetes, the O-prize, or otherwise. We would be saving and improving the quality of lives around the world. In the meantime, it would likely not be payable for several years, and we put Oklahoma on the map. I haven't quite worked out the details, but would be happy to put together an exploratory EDGE subcommittee if this idea has merit.
